The analysis traces uses and development of narrative elements, digital devices, and interaction strategies in the design and player reflection sequences. The analysis reveals that students are constructing IDNs with a variety of narrative and interactive devices, and are experimenting with multiple story trajectories in their designs. It also reveals that these IDNs can help learners to develop complexity literacy skills by enabling them to experience and comprehend the complex interrelationship of the elements within a system.
